Ucelo seeks innovation by exploring technologies at a fair in China
The company attended ChinaPlas 2024 to drive manufacturing excellence and sustainable growth.

To stay updated on trends, innovations, and cutting-edge technologies, many companies have been attending international trade fairs, especially in China, the current industrial epicenter.
Ucelo is one of those companies, attending ChinaPlas 2024 in Shanghai in search of the latest innovations to optimize its manufacturing plants in Londrina (PR) and Ibiporã (PR).
"For those working with polymer manufacturing processes, this fair is one of the most important in the world. It’s where all the technologies that we’ll be consuming in the coming years are launched. It’s the forefront of the industry," explains the company's CEO, Bruno Pavani.
In addition, the event also hosts various seminars, forums, and the World Summit on Plastics Trends and Technology, focusing on discussing the future of this industry. According to Ucelo's CEO, attending international fairs and events is crucial for any company that wants to remain competitive in the global market. "For a company like ours, which has technology embedded in every step of the production process, keeping up with global trends such as automation, sustainability, and carbon reduction is essential. These are the key topics right now," Bruno analyzes.
EXPANSION AND INVESTMENT
With investments surpassing R$50 million, Ucelo will open its third plant in Ibiporã (PR) later this year. The new facility spans 40,000 m² and is being built to become the corporation’s primary manufacturing site.
“We’ve come from years of intense growth, becoming the market leader in our segment in Brazil. To ensure continuous improvement and operational reliability for our customers, we are constantly investing in innovation, research, and technological development,” says the company’s CEO.
Ucelo is a company based in Londrina that has been operating for 17 years in the industrialization of components for grain handling and storage, and is currently the largest manufacturer of plastic elevator buckets in Latin America.
